Breast cancer is devastating for women who have it, it takes an unimaginable emotional toll on family members, and the cost to society in general is astronomical. Dr. Charles Hough
Dr. Charles Hough has been practicing chiropractic for twenty-two years. He graduated summa cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West in 1985. He continued on at Life West as an instructor in upper cervical technique while beginning his private practice for the next three years.
Dr. Hough maintains an active practice in Santa Ana, California. He has been a life long student of health and technological advances in healthcare. By the late 1980′s he began his study and use of thermography in the detection and documentation of musculoskeletal disorders.
In 1999 he completed a diplomat program from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners. He’s fond of telling his patients, “The first rule of anti-aging medicine is “don’t die”.” This always gets a laugh but, on a serious note, this advice has motivated Dr. Hough to look closely at the primary causes of death in America. His research has lead to a professional objective of educating his patients on how to maintain good health.
Dr. Hough’s Practice revolves around optimal health and educating his patients on factors that contribute to their wellbeing:
- The nervous system’s role in maintaining optimal body function.
- Prevention of the major causes of death in America, with a special emphasis on the prevention of cancer.
- The earliest possible detection of breast cancer in women by using infrared thermography.

Our technicians been trained by one of the leading experts in the field of breast thermography, performs the painless examination. She follows strict protocols to obtain the most accurate information possible.
The examination takes about twenty minutes.
It’s done in the morning before you consume any caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol; and should be scheduled within a certain window of your monthly cycle. We will provide more detailed instructions when you make your appointment.
Normal thermal characteristics of the breast may be altered by illness, especially those involving fever. If you become sick we encourage you to reschedule.
